Climate Pledge Friendly is Amazon’s newest initiative to help customers shop for sustainable products. From beauty, fashion, electronics, down to grocery and household items, climate-friendly products are now clearly labeled by Amazon to certify that they help reduce the carbon footprint of shipments to customers. “With 18 external certification programs and our own Compact by Design certification, we’re incentivizing selling partners to create sustainable products that help protect the planet for future generations,” said Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder and CEO.
The Climate Pledge Friendly badge is part of Amazon’s commitment to be net-zero carbon across their business by 2040. Among the 19 certification programs being run by Amazon, Wishbone Pet Foods is given the Compact by Design certificate. Products identified Compact by Design are items that remove excess air and water, which reduces the carbon footprint of shipping and packaging.
